Pledge manager

We have sent the surveys for the pledge manager. Please check your email and follow the link to BackerKit pledge manager to fill out your shipping address and select add-ons if you want. Beside add-ons related to Urban Battle (e.g. sets of tank pieces in various colors), some other of our games are available as well, at lower prices than in regular sale.

After three weeks, we will lock orders of those backers who have responded to the survey (other orders with unanswered surveys will remain unlocked and will be locked later when answered).

Start of production

As we announced during the campaign, we had a production plan ready. Since the number of ordered games is not large, we will produce all games in our own workshop. Some sheets (for Urban Battle Junior) will be printed in a small batch on digital printers, and the remaining ones on an offset machine in a larger batch. All the necessary material has already been purchased: cardboard, paper and filaments for 3D printing.

The production of all boxes for Urban Battle Junior is already completed.

Also all the inner cardboards for all the boxes have been printed and finished (it's the same for all variants of the game).

All boards for all game variants have been completed.

Production of spinners is underway. The cardboard part has been completed, and the spinning hand will soon be printed on a 3D printer.

Since only a small number of 'FT' variant of the game were ordered (with injection-molded tank pieces), we already have that quantity of blue and red tank pieces, so we did not order a new quantity. In the next few days, those pieces will be counted and sorted.

Barricades have been printed on older 3D printers. In the meantime, the design of those barricades has been changed slightly.

The production of pieces for the 'RT' variant has already begun on newer 3D printers.

We have changed the model of the Medium Tank to make it easier to distinguish (previously it was too similar to Heavy Tank). This applies only to 'RT' variant of the game, not 'FT', as we can't change the tool for injection molding.

Anyone who didn't back the project during the Kickstarter campaign can pre-order the game and all add-ons on BackerKit (the "pre-order" button on the main Kickstarter page links to the pre-order store). If you want, you can spread the word about this project through social networks to contribute to the project getting additional funding.

Campaign complete
11 months ago – Tue, Apr 29, 2025 at 04:15:55 AM

This project was supported by 229 backers and the collected amount reached 12006 dollars. We thank everyone who supported us. We are sure that you will like the game, because it really offers a lot and is adaptable to everyone's taste.

It's easy to see that many more backers have chosen the game variant featuring tanks with rotating turrets (3D printed), even though it is more expensive than the variant with fixed turrets (injection molded pieces). We will take this into account when planning some future projects.

Follow the project updates, in them we will inform you about the pledge manager, production and deliveries. The Urban Battle project will have its sequels, which we will also write about in upcoming updates.

Final days of the campaign
11 months ago – Sat, Apr 26, 2025 at 07:10:38 AM

The campaign is entering its final phase. We thank everyone who supported us. We hope that by the end of the campaign the number of backers will be higher.

In the meantime, the second stretch goal was reached, so every set of any game variant will also contain barricades (8 high + 2 low in 'FT' and 'RT', 6 high + 2 low in Junior variant).

A few weeks after the end of the campaign, the pledge manager will start on the BackerKit platform, and will be open for 4 weeks. Backers will be able to order add-ons and our other games there.

We remind backers that we send packages with games directly to backers (using the services of UPS), Those packages are declared as rewards for which a symbolic value of 1 dollar is written, so they are not subject to customs duties.

Social Media Sharing Gift
12 months ago – Thu, Apr 10, 2025 at 11:22:49 AM

So far, Forsage Games has never used paid advertisements in its campaigns (apart from negligible try-outs). We trusted the intrinsic quality of our games and in several cases that was enough to make campaigns very successful. In our first few campaigns, we published posts about our projects on the social network Facebook and it gave some results. In the meantime, Facebook received a lot of competition from other social networks, and the change in their algorithm also affected the fact that posts on this network became visible to a very small number of members. Unfortunately, we did not spread to other networks in time, so now we feel that we lack this kind of support for our projects.

That's why we ask you, the backers, to help spread the word about this project. That's why we have provided Social Media Sharing Gift - 'Old Concept Tanks' mini expansion. We have written on the main page the details how to get this mini expansion, but it's not a strict condition. Any help is welcome and we hope that many of you will make an effort to spread the word about this project.

It would also be helpful if someone has a recommendation for a marketing agency that could promote our project. Various agencies contact us every day, all of them promising that thanks to them we will multiply the success of the campaign. However, most of them are suspicious at best, and after some checks, we conclude that the primary goal is likely to take an advance payment, with no guarantee that their engagement will bring us any benefit. That's why we ask you, backers, if you can recommend us an agency or an individual (e.g. influencer) whom we could hire, and who is ready to take their commission (percentage) after the end of the campaign. We will consider each of your suggestions and we hope to establish cooperation with an agency to our mutual satisfaction.

As you could conclude from the reviews, it's really a great and accessible game that deserves more support on Kickstarter.

Early Pledge Gift period has expired
12 months ago – Tue, Apr 08, 2025 at 11:10:11 AM

The first 72 hours of the campaign have passed, ending the Early Pledge Gift ('Flamethrowers and Explosives' mini expansion). The last backer to get the gift is #83. This mini expansion can also be ordered in the pledge manager as an add-on.

Another review of Urban Battle was recently published on BGG, by Miodrag Arsić. Here are a few quotes, and the full text can be found here.

"Rulebook is so smooth and concise. ... At first I was surprised how this game, even tho rules seemed simple, offered so many possibilities."

"Shooting is exciting as well. There is a range of shooting for each tank and each tank has an armour value. So the closer you are and more on the side or back you are the easier will be to destroy the enemy. This part of the game is masterfully designed. So simple but it feels just right."
